Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with MiniFit.

As all of our products are made to order in the UK, please read the information below carefully before placing your order.

 


1. PRODUCTION TIMES

All MiniFit equipment is made to order in our UK workshop.

We aim to manufacture and dispatch orders within 5–7 working days of purchase.

During busy periods (including seasonal demand, promotional events or viral product launches), production times may extend to 2–3 weeks.

Working days exclude weekends and UK public holidays.

If you require your order for a specific date, please contact us before ordering and we will advise honestly on feasibility.

 


2. ORDER CONFIRMATION & TRACKING

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

When your shipping label is created, you will receive a separate dispatch confirmation with tracking details. Please note:

  • Tracking may show “label created” or “awaiting collection” before courier collection.

  • Couriers do not collect on weekends.

  • Collection typically occurs on the next scheduled courier pickup day.

 


3. UK SHIPPING

Orders are shipped via fully tracked courier (typically UPS, Royal Mail or FedEx).

Delivery is usually next working day once dispatched.

We are not responsible for courier delays once the parcel is in transit.

 


4. UNITED STATES SHIPPING

We ship to the United States using a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service where applicable.

This means:

  • Import duties and tariffs are calculated and collected at checkout.

  • You should not receive additional customs invoices on delivery for standard shipments.

Transit times typically range between 3-5 business days once dispatched.

Customs clearance is outside of our control and may occasionally cause delays.

 


5. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (OUTSIDE UK & US)

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, size and destination. Any promotional free shipping thresholds will be displayed at checkout where applicable.

Orders may be subject to local import duties, taxes or customs handling fees upon arrival. These charges:

  • Are determined by your country’s customs authority.

  • Are not included in our product or shipping prices.

  • Are the responsibility of the customer.

We cannot mark items as gifts or alter declared values.

Delivery timelines vary by country but typically range from 5-7 business days once dispatched.

 


6. REFUSED DELIVERIES

If a parcel is refused by the customer:

  • Return shipping fees and any additional courier charges will be deducted from the refund.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

If refusal is due to unpaid customs charges (where applicable), the above conditions apply.

 


7. INCORRECT ADDRESS DETAILS

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an incorrect address is supplied:

  • We are not liable for delays or failed delivery.

  • Any redelivery or rerouting fees may be charged to the customer.

If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. Changes cannot be guaranteed once dispatched.

 


8. DELIVERY DELAYS

While we aim to meet all stated production and transit times, delays can occasionally occur due to:

  • Courier network congestion

  • Customs inspections

  • Severe weather

  • Peak seasonal demand

These circumstances are outside of our control.

We will always assist where possible, but we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

 


9. PEAK SEASON CUT-OFF DATES

During peak periods (e.g. Christmas), we may publish order cut-off dates for guaranteed delivery. Orders placed after these dates are not guaranteed to arrive before the specified event.

Cut-off banners will always be clearly displayed on our website during these times.

 


10. PRE-ORDERS (IF APPLICABLE)

Where products are listed as pre-order, estimated dispatch dates will be clearly stated on the product page.

Production timelines for pre-orders may differ from standard items.

 


11. SHIPPING ISSUES

If your order is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, please contact support@minifit.shop within 7 days of delivery (or the expected delivery date).

We will work with you and the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
