MiniFit Returns & Refunds Policy

At MiniFit we want you to be delighted with your kit. If something isn't right, here's exactly where you stand and how to put it right.

These rights apply to consumer purchases. Business, wholesale, and trade orders are handled separately - please contact us.


Your 14-day cancellation right (UK & EU)

If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason - no fault needed.

  • The 14 days start the day after you receive your order (or the day after the last item arrives, if it comes in separate parcels).
  • Let us know within those 14 days that you'd like to cancel - start a return from your account, or email support@minifit.shop. You then have a further 14 days from telling us to send the goods back.
  • You're welcome to open the box and inspect an item as you would in a shop. If an item has been used or handled beyond that and comes back with its value reduced, we may reduce your refund to reflect it.
  • If you cancel your whole order under this right, we'll refund the item(s) and the original standard delivery charge. Return postage is your responsibility (see below).

Our 30-day returns promise (changed your mind)

On top of your statutory rights, we give you a full 30 days from delivery to return most items if you've simply changed your mind.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or confirmation) is required.
  • You cover the cost of return postage.
  • We'll refund the price you paid for the item once it's back with us and checked. Original delivery charges aren't refunded on change-of-mind returns made outside the 14-day cancellation window above.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or it isn't what you ordered, that's on us.

  • Please check your order when it arrives and tell us as soon as you can. Within 30 days you're entitled to reject a faulty item for a full refund.
  • We'll cover return postage and refund you in full, including any delivery you paid.
  • If a fault appears later, get in touch - depending on the issue you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

Items we can't accept back

Some items are exempt from change-of-mind returns and from the 14-day cancellation right:

  • Custom or personalised products - special orders, bespoke colour combinations, name engraving, or anything made to your specification.
  • Digital products or downloads once accessed.

Standard products from our range are not custom items, even though we may make them to order - you keep your full return and cancellation rights on those.

Sale and clearance items are excluded from our extended 30-day promise, but your 14-day cancellation right and your rights over faulty goods still apply.

Faulty items are always returnable, whatever the category.

How to start a return or cancellation

The quickest way is through your account:

  1. Sign in and open your order.
  2. Choose Return or cancel and follow the steps.

Prefer email? Write to support@minifit.shop with your order number and the reason. Please let us know before sending anything back, so we can log it and make sure it reaches the right place.

We recommend a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage - until it reaches us, the parcel is your responsibility.

Refunds

  • Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll email you to confirm it's approved, or explain why not.
  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow a little extra for your bank or card provider to post it.
  • Where an item comes back used or not in resaleable condition, we may issue a partial refund reflecting the reduced value.
  • If 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you haven't seen it, contact support@minifit.shop.

Exchanges

The fastest way to swap an item is to return the original (if eligible) and place a new order. Get in touch if you'd like a hand.
