GETTING STARTED
What is MiniFit and who is it for?
MiniFit is UK-made, kid-sized gym equipment designed for children aged 3 and up. It comes in two ranges: MiniFit Play (ages 3–6), which is lightweight equipment for supervised movement learning and copying parents, and MiniFit Progression (ages 7+), which introduces real weights starting at just 2.5kg. MiniFit also offers products for adults and older athletes looking to track their personal bests. Whether you’re three or thirty, if you’re learning, progressing, or chasing a PB, there’s something in the range for you. Trusted by 800+ families.
What age should I start with?
Ages 3–6: Start with the MiniFit Play range.
Ages 7+: Start with the MiniFit Progression range.
If your child is 6 turning 7, choose Play if confidence is the priority, or Progression if skill development is the goal. When in doubt, most families start with Play to build the habit first.

PRODUCTS & RANGES
What is the difference between MiniFit Play and MiniFit Progression?
MiniFit Play is designed for ages 3–6 and is lightweight. It’s about learning fundamental movement patterns early, through squatting down, pushing up, and moving like the grown-ups do. It builds coordination, confidence, and a love of movement from the very start.
MiniFit Progression is for ages 7+ and introduces real weights with a technique-first approach, starting at just 2.5kg. It bridges the gap between play and structured training, teaching proper form before load.
Important: the two ranges are NOT compatible with each other. They are designed as separate systems for different stages of development.

Is this actual weight training for kids?
The Play range (ages 3 to 6) is not weight training. It’s about teaching movement. Children naturally learn through imitation, and MiniFit Play gives them properly scaled equipment to squat down, push up, and move like the grown-ups do, alongside their parents. The emphasis is on building coordination, body awareness, and confidence through play, creating a foundation that lasts a lifetime.
The Progression range (ages 7+) introduces real weight, starting at just 2.5kg with a strict focus on technique before load. It’s learning how to move well, with purpose.

What products does MiniFit sell?

The Progression range (ages 7+) includes the 2.5kg Starter Barbell (Olympic-compatible, 50mm sleeves), wall balls, and kettlebells. MiniFit also has products designed for adults and anyone using the Progression range upwards who want to track their personal bests. Bundles are available for great value.
Are the Play and Progression ranges compatible with each other?
No - the MiniFit Play and Progression ranges are NOT compatible with each other. They are designed as separate systems for different age groups and developmental stages. If you're unsure which is right for your child, contact the support team for guidance.
Is MiniFit worth the money?
Think of it this way. A soft play visit is over in an afternoon and you pay again next time. MiniFit is one purchase that stays in the house, ready every day, building healthy movement habits that last years, not just hours. It’s 5-star rated by MiniFit families and trusted by 800+ families.
